First spin
Two turntables, a crate of vinyl, and a borrowed PA in a borrowed living room. The crowd stayed till the cops came — a good sign, even then.
The club years
Weekend residencies across Tampa — hip-hop on Fridays, house on Saturdays, and a full read on what actually moves a room at 1 a.m.
Wedding season begins
Learned the trade’s hardest lesson: reading a room beats any playlist. Grandmas and groomsmen dancing to the same song — that’s the job.
Full production
Own PA, lighting, wireless mics, and backup gear for everything. Showing up an hour early became a policy, not a habit.

Quick answers
How far ahead should I book?
Peak season (April–December) fills fast — two to three months out is safe. Off-season, a couple of weeks is usually fine. When in doubt, just ask.
Do you take requests?
Always. Give me your must-plays and do-not-plays ahead of time, and I’ll take live requests on the night when they fit the room.
What do you need on site?
A roughly 6×6 ft spot, standard power, and some shade or cover if we’re outdoors. I bring everything else, including my own table setup.
